The main aim of the study is to determine the minimum and maximum number of hives that should be supported by determining what the lowest cost of production capacity of the beekeeping enterprises that receive support from the IPARD I program in Van province should be. The main material of the study consists of questionnaire data collected from beekeeping enterprises that receive support from the IPARD I program in Van province. There are 94 samples and they have been selected according to the "Purposive Sampling Method". The "Neyman Method", one of the simple random stratified sampling methods, has been used in the distribution of these 94 samples according to the size of the enterprises. The size of the enterprises has been determined according to the number of the hives and calculated with 95% confidence interval and %5 margin of error. According to number of hives used in production in 2016 production season, there are 17 enterprises of 0-100 colony size, 22 enterprises of 101-250 colony size, and 55 enterprises of 251 and above colony size. The beekeeping enterprise should have minimum 81 hives to earn their living. Cost curves of enterprises per 1 kg honey production has been determined and accordingly cost functions have been estimated. As a result of cost functions and quadratic trend model, the optimal production capacity in the enterprises has been determined as 674 hives.
Purpose\nThe article aims at analyzing the Central Bank of the Russian Federation\'s tools used to manage foreign exhange risks. It also dwells on their impact on the banking sector.\n\nDesign/methodology/approach\nIn order to achieve the aim, we employed such methods as logical, systematic functional and situational analysis, as well as grouping and monographic methods.\n\nFindings\nFinancial regulators use deposit dedollarization tools to minimize the risks that the exchange rate, banks’ default and ruble substitution will negatively affect Russia’s economy. Currently, cash reserve ratio is the main lever of influence to keep the balance of currency and ruble deposits. On the other hand, the Bank of Russia’s change in the reserve requirement did not bring any significant impact on the economy, which shows the urge to implement other instruments.\n\nOriginality/value\nThe Bank of Russia’s strategy of increasing the reserve requirement does not largely affect the balance of the currency and ruble basket of deposits. Individuals and legal entities mainly focus on preserving their savings. If the financial regulator is too strict when it comes to dedollarization, then legal entities are at risk of income loss. It can result in withdrawal of resources in search of alternative sources of savings.
In this paper we take up the prey predator system for investigation to study the stability characteristics of the model induced by time delay. The discrete time lag (τ) is induced in the interaction of prey and second predator species. The normal steady state is identified. The local stability analysis is discussed. The system tends to lose its stability leads to Hopf bifurcation. The Hopf bifurcation analysis is described by using numerical examples.
Thiosemicarbazides have the capability of killing the cancerous tumor cells and inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungus. Here, we designed and synthesized a calix[4]arene based thiosemicarbazone Schiff-base ligand, and the derivative complexes with Co (II), Ni (II), Cu (II), and Zn (II) transition metals. All compounds were characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), 1H-NMR, and ESI-Mass spectroscopy to confirm the successful synthesis. We further evaluated the biocompatibility and biological inhibitory properties of our newly synthesized complexes in human cell lines. The antibacterial activity of theligand and derivative complexes with cobalt, nickel, copper, and zinc showed that they are all more active against gram-negative bacteria than gram-positive ones. Hemolysis assay results demonstrated that Zn and Ni complexes have high blood compatibility in high (1600 mgL-1) and low (25 mgL-1) concentrations, respectively. MTT assay showed the substantial anti-cancer activity of Cu complex against the MG-63 cell line.
The problems of search of preparations come into question for treatment HIV and COVID - 19
Today, not only officials but also citizens should be accountable for their responsibilities and duties. On the one hand, cooperation between citizens and government seems necessary. On the other hand, to achieve their rights, citizens should inevitably cooperate. This study aims at designing a model to operationalize citizenship rights in the Tax Affairs Organization (AFO) of Iran. The population of this study includes all Iranian taxpayers. Based on James Steven\'s formulae, 300 people were selected. The survey method was used for the study that its main advantage is the generalizability of results. First, 94 criteria were extracted using Fuzzy Delphi, were reduced to 25. Fitness of the model was confirmed using Smart PLS 2.0 software and Structural Equation Modelling in three sections: measurement, structural model, and the whole model. Investigations confirmed the hypotheses. Finally, some recommendations were provided.
Introduction. Radiographic evaluation remains the most important tool for evaluation of the structural damage of joints and skeleton. Progression of the radiographic damage of hand and feet joints are significant and objective variable for evaluation of disease activity as well as measurement of treatment outcome\nAim: to compare the values of Rheumatoid factor (RF), C-reactive protein (CRP) and DAS28 index in the early diagnosis of untreated Rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Evaluation of the RA activity with radiographic evaluation of hand joints in patients with early RA treated with Methotrexate.\nMaterial and methods. using ELISA method DIA-STATTM Anti CCP (Axis–Shield Diagnostics), we tested sera of 70 participants (35 untreated RA, 35 control group). RF is determined with the agglutination test (Latex RF test) in the same participants. Patients were treated with Methotrexate with an average dose of 10 mg once weekly. For clinical evaluation of disease activity in every patient were analyzed radiographic index (RI), sedimentation, CRP and RF in certain time intervals (0-time, after 6, 9 and 12 months). \nResults. RA was evaluated by follow-up of the dynamic of the changes of mean values of RI score, mean values of sedimentation, CRP and RF. RI showed increased radiographic progression of hand joint damage in time intervals between 0-time and 9 months (p=0,0167) and between 0-time and 12 months (p=0,0089). Statistical analysis showed statistically significant differences among mean values of ESR in the four time intervals (p=0,00002). Also, statistically significant differences were shown in the mean values of CRP in the four time intervals (p=0,0428 ) (standard deviations showed great variations). There were no statistically significant differences among mean values of RF in the four time intervals (p=0,573). In 0-time in 3 (10%) patients (pts) RI progression was seen, after 6 months in 13 (39%), while after 9 and 12 months RI progression was seen in equal number of patients 15 (50%). In most patients increased values of RF and CRP were registered. \nConclusion. despite the Methotrexate therapy, progression of the radiographic damage continues, especially in patients with increased values of sedimentation, CRP and RF and persistence of previous hand joints erosions, as predictors of the aggressive course of disease. They enable selection of the high risk groups for aggressive course of disease and indicate the need for early and aggressive treatment.
